Description of feature (short and simple):
I know this one might be complex and something that needs to be addressed at the OS level, but the patching is not quick and intuitive. I think part of it has to do with the amount of possible destinations in the list. The suggestion I have is to take a page out of the Empress Zoia which uses a very similar, “hold the object and then touch the modulations destination” style of workflow. Obviously this is easily done on the Zoia because all of the possible inputs and output destinations are represented with a block. Maybe there could be a way where only the connections between two modules are listed. Maybe it’s a button combo, like (up and click on module) will only show connections between that module and the highlighted module. This would greatly speed up workflow. Also… Does enabling inputs really need to be part of the patching? I think workflow would be greatly sped up if you only need to connect outputs to inputs and NOT have to ALSO enable inputs.
