There are many micro / mini eurorack setups all over modular forums and group pages. What is the appeal, do you think, to mini cases?
Honestly, I think the same thing that attracts many of us to modular, is equally appealing in small doses as well. If you can get a fully modular experience in a small case, then it makes the ability to create your custom instrument at a much more affordable price range.
The SSP, is the ultimate swiss army knife of the modular world. It is a modular system in a module. Be able to have access to the same CPU and specs as the SSP in a smaller more compact module is a mini case dream come true.
On top of that 26hp is just easier to slide into anyone’s rack. So many modules are around this size.
With the proposed web editor, there really is no downside (outside of the physical I/O differences) to the mSSP.
