Scale/bias

HI all,

Im a new bee in the hive of Euro Rack… so bare with me for the simple question

How do I scale and bias the conversion from a pitch range (from a sinfonion) where 0v is a C2 into SSP where 0v A4

how do i set the “red” scale and the “green” bias? and the same goes for midi in i guess

thanks

k

with the latest SSP firmware 0v = C5
(indeed the older firmware has 0v=A)

if you want C2, you can simply apply a -0.6 offset ( 0.2v = 1 Octave)

to change offset (green!) of an input - hold (either) shift + turn encoder 1
to change offset of an output - hold (either) shift + turn encoder 2
to change scale (red!) of an input - hold (either) shift + turn encoder 3
to change scale of an output - hold (either) shift + turn encoder 4

you can do this anywhere, so output from midi or input module

Thank you so much… Ha… been bugging me for days…I had the version reference wrong… thank you for all your development… Im digging into your SWAT tool now  a bit less blind is useful…

cool…

just one thing I noticed with SWAT,while the display algo is correctly displaying notes.
I’ve noticed (while doing the new swat version) - I had forgetten to update some of the other algos (e.g. note comparitor) to the new voltage reference - this will be fixed in new release (soon)

(the algos still work, but are displaying the incorrect note names)
