Quadraphonic Auto Panner

Description of feature: An automatic panner for quad performances (QPAN)

How will this feature improve the workflow or experience for all SSP users: A simpler way to do this basic function, without having to use a bunch of VCAs and Quadrature LFOs. Features and connections:
• 1 signal input and four signal outputs
• A CV in for rotation speed
• A Gate toggle for direction (clockwise or counter clockwise)
• A CV in for Radius (an LFO can create flower or figure 8 patterns)
• A CV in for Offset phase (so multiple QPAN modules can have sounds “follow” each other).

I know the VCA module has 4 VCAs in it, but to make this effect, lots of other modules need to be involved and sync’d together. For live performance, this would be a GREAT addition.

Cool idea! I would add that this could have more than Quad outputs arranged in a circle, and that each output could be enabled or disabled etc. So that you could select outputs with 180° stereo, or 60° stereo, or equally spaced quad, or much more. Maybe this could be a gateway to ambisonic? Thinking of your live scenario you could place speakers wherever you wanted in the space, and then mix to exactly that speaker placement. That would be revolutionary in modular and on the SSP.
