Yep! There are two recorders within the recorder. One records the inputs and one records the outputs. RecO starts recording on your armed outputs, and RecI starts recording on your armed inputs. Pushing them again stops recording.
The recorder is really powerful and has a lot of functionality.
On the recorder page you are by default in the input recorder and on channel 1. (So input jack 1 of the SSP. (Top left input jack)) By pushing the up or down arrow keys you move through the input channels. (1 through 16) You can arm or monitor (doing both if you please) for each channel. However, unless a channel is armed it will not be recorded.
By pushing the SwRec button you switch between the input and the output recorders. In this way you arm the channels in both recorders, setup any monitoring you’d like (to include which output jacks monitoring will be output from. Monitoring and outputting of monitoring is specific to each channel. This means you could monitor things across several outputs as you’d like.
