Hey guys, so this is my second post — first was an introduction.
I should have the SSP in in a few days. I’m really curious if anyone has gotten the Linux plugin Overwitch to work on it…. Which is Overbridge for Linux boxes.

short answer is no
given your introduction, Im sure you have already researched the SSP and its development possibilities, and will do more digging once you get your hands on it.
however, as you mention linux plugins, I thought it might be useful to give you a bit of background to development history for the SSP, as it kind of frames where we are at today. as the ‘explanation’ was getting a bit long, I decided to add it to SSP wiki , in this topic. ( * )
note: Im not connected to Percussa, Im just a fellow community developer, that has developed a number of plugins for the SSP.
to your original point, no…
I don’t have any overbridge compatible products (just an Octatrack from Elektron).
Overwitch looks like an interesting project.
as I mention in the devhistory above, the SSP’s move away from a standard linux distro to buildroot might create some interesting challenges in dependancies.
ofc, with buildroot you could (theoretically) build many dependencies, though there can be some limitations in this area e.g. kernel modules requirements.
important note: the buildroot configuration is NOT available, so you cannot build you own custom image.
that said, I have NOT looked at the dependancies of overwitch, and compared to libs /services etc on the buildroot image, so it maybe straightforward - I just dont know without doing some significant digging.
But I did want to set expectations just in case
( * ) I like to create wiki entries for longer form answers that I think could be useful to others in the future, rather than having to search this forum - though Id suggest this too, as there is a ton of useful information on here as well.
Thanks a lot! I truly appreciate your work
Matter of fact I discovered you when I started building for the Nebulae v2 and diving into your Nebulae v2 2.2.2 firmware
