the bus board might say that but that doesn’t matter. What matters is what your power supply can output. I looked at the product page for this case and you have two options for power supplies, a meanwell RT65B and a doepfer PSU3. Which one did you get?
what happens if you only have the SSP in the case, and you go directly from the SSP into a mixer and then from your mixer to your speakers? I generally go from the SSP directly to a Mackie VLZ mixer.
Bus boards are tricky and I generally only recommend the LIBB bus board, or any other similar low impedance bus board solution, combined with heavy gauge wiring from your power supply to the bus board, to minimize the impedance in the cabling. The meanwell RT50B + a LIBB is a good low cost solution.
High current draws combined with impedance causes noise no matter if it’s the SSP or some other digital eurorack module with significant power draw.
Also, in general it’s a bad idea to use headphone amplifier or other final output modules in your case which are connected to the bus board using a traditional eurorack cable. It’s best to use a premium cable like we ship with the SSP. Modules that amplify signals can pick up noise if they are powered by cables with significant impedance.
If you can, always go balanced out to your mixer or speakers.
