I’m feeding an audio signal to physical input 1.
I would expect to see something on the INP scope.
But there is nothing, not with gain set to +2.999 and not when I pull and re-insert the cable either.

no secret as far as im aware… I just plug in and go… though I rarely look at the scopes within INP.
have you got it connected to any other modules? perhaps try that… though I don’t think this is needed. perhaps connect an INP → OUT, see if you get a passthru?
do all inputs act the same?

After a few unpluging and re-pluggin it suddenly worked. No idea why this was an issue. But now everything seems to behave as expected:-)
hmm, keep an eye on it…
sounds like either you have a dodgy cable, or dodgy (input) port on the SSP… or just user error 
User error is the more likely scenario:-)
And everything is working as expected now…
