might work, I have no clue since I don’t have this case. What is good about the Roland case, is that you can connect the SSP to one of the small bus board’s 16-pin euro power connectors, while using the other connector for a flying bus cable or bus board. The DC jack is on the back of their small power supply board. The entire design works pretty well and is very quiet.
Whether the power supply solution in the pittsburgh case works well depends on the impedance of the bus board and switcher design on the bus board and wiring between bus board and actual brick they use. It’s all about minimizing the impedance and how much thought went into the design of the bus board’s switching supply.
