DLYD wet/dry

What could I be doing wrong if the wet/dry control isn’t working?
There are only two main outs and I assume the wet/dry is supposed to control the mix on those outputs? (What I get now is a sort of 50/50 wet/dry balance as far as I can hear).

by code inspection looks like mix is working in an unexpected way… basically is being used as how much of a dry signal you get… and does not influence the amount of wet.
I think this is a bug, but id need to actually test it, to check that I did not do this for a particular reason.

as a workaround you could use a vca and do the mix yourself.
so set the dlyd to use a fully wet signal , and then mix the wet/dry inputs in a vca.

EDIT: k, Ive changed MIX in dev, so that it works as expected

Funny that no one else has noticed that… I guess, I’m hoping it is a bug and the mix control can work in a conventional way at some point:-))

For now I’ll stick it on a PMIX aux for now.
That way everything is controlled in one place.
(BTW, I would absolutely love to see a PMIX with a couple of more auxes! I’m a great lover of busses on physical mixers.-)

yeah, I’m surprised too…
though, I’ll say personally I almost always have effects set up as send fx, so yeah 100% wet on an aux channel… so perhaps others are the same.
( I do this, mainly as it’ll often save you cpu cycles… so pretty important on something like the ssp)

Speaking of which - is there any practical difference between cue and the auxes?
Would it be possible to use the cue as just another aux?

cue differs in ‘functionality’, you have a cue button, which allows you to quickly move an input from main to/from cue.

the main use case is performance, so you might want to prepare/tweak certain input sources over headphones, and then once ready quickly switch to the main outputs.
though obviously, you can use for different creative purposes.
