Based on your video I have the impression that when you change the length of the delay in ableton, that the samples in the delay buffer are glitching as a result of the length change. That is to be expected.
The repitch mode in ableton seems to be an alternative solution to this problem, where the sound is pitch shifted.
The SSP does not do that, as it resets the delay buffer when you turn the length parameter, which means the delay buffer needs to be refilled, which gives you the impression the sound is interrupted (it’s not, the buffer is just refilling). So it’s a tradeof between glitching and the reflling of the delay buffer.
Maybe changing the dry/wet mix will help deal with the perceived “muting” of sound. That ableton video has dry/wet at 55% while on the SSP you have set it to 0.14, not 0.55.
The SSP’s delay module length can already be continuously modulated via its inputs.
It should be possible, but sometimes you have to press enter after posting the video link as discourse sometimes just shows the link and then sometimes embeds it depending on spaces before/after the link.
